How do opportunities come your way?

I have come across people who often resist moving forward wondering if they will ever find enough opportunities or make it big if they move ahead. Yes it does make a valid thought but then I think how it’s going to help you in any way! You will just end up doing nothing. Right?

Well, I somehow have learnt in due course that opportunities will going to come your way no matter what. We just need to acquire the skill and the crucial mindset which goes about manifesting it. We need to figure out what and how opportunities can come our way. We see people who get amazing opportunities, so yeah, there must be something which they do and apply in their lives!

1. Is your heart in it? : Take up what you feel like, if it interests you, you are bound to love and enjoy it. I have learnt this the hard way and that’s why this factor comes so intuitively for me. This will take you long enough that, you automatically want to explore yourself in whatever field you are in.
2. Putting yourself out there: Sounds like ‘show off’? Well, it’s not. If you don’t let others know what you are capable of, you are just lining a barrier that is hampering you for no real reason. Sharing your thoughts and displaying your skills surely takes you a long way as growth can never happen in isolation.
3. Opportunities can be small or big: When people think of opportunities, they mostly think of them as something big. However, a small ‘hello’ also can work wonders! It has happened with me where I come across people whom I didn’t expect, and they really help me grow and uplift my work.
4. There is no substitute for consistency: If you do all of the above, but take this lightly, sadly things won’t work for long. You don’t need to be consistent for others but for your sake. With each and every small aspect of your life, you got to be consistent and have a routine – rhythm to your life. It makes you think radically and feed in more ideas to perform better. To be honest, I still struggle with this, but I am quite aware and improving day by day. Opportunities come your way when you do something consistently.
5. Stop comparing with others: Everyone’s life is different and we have to go through a different journey. So there is really no point comparing yourself with others. Ahh… If you take it as an inspiration then you will surely make it up to something constructive. Opportunities come your way in the most unexpected ways unknown to us.
6. Focus on the core: Be careful of what you are asking for. It all depends on the core content that you produce and relate it to people. If you shift your focus on something irrelevant ( it happens when you get carried away), you might get sporadic results.

Well, I don’t know if all this have been insightful but applying these has really made me get opportunities I was astonished to notice. I find it extremely old taste when people comment, “This has no scope, so go for this one.” It’s like your focus is on survival rather than adding any purpose to your life.
